Fairy Tale Gang of Rascals: Night of Bookstores 2025

The autumn weekend at Janów Podlaski Castle promises to be truly magical. This time we are preparing a special event for the little ones (and not only!) – Fairy Tale Gang of Rascals, organized as part of the nationwide Bookstore Night 2025 campaign. It will be family-friendly, literary, and fairy-tale-like – just the way we like it best! We invite you from October 10th to 12th.

Meeting with the author, literary evening – October 10 (Friday)

We start on Friday at 6:00 PM with a meeting with Marta Dryżałowska, author of the book “Dream of Pogrom” – a moving story about one of the most famous horses from the Arabian Horse Stud Farm.

The evening will be spent in a unique atmosphere – the author will read excerpts from the book, talk about inspirations and common threads connecting the Stud Farm with the Castle. For the youngest, we have prepared coloring pages featuring the book's hero, and for everyone – souvenir posters. There will be an opportunity to purchase the book with an autograph on site.

At the end of the evening, at 7:00 PM, we will invite participants to watch classic Polish fairy tales together – a surprise will not be missing!

Castle Treasure Hunt – October 11 (Saturday)

On Saturday, we have prepared something special for families with children – Castle Treasure Hunt with fairy tale characters.

Participants will set off on a route full of puzzles, fun, and laughter – all accompanied by favorite fairy tale characters. Persistent explorers will receive prizes and diplomas, and the whole adventure will certainly remain in memory for a long time.

On the occasion of Bookstore Night, in our castle Arche Bookstore there will be a special promotion – all weekend long, the second book will be available at a 20% discount! This is the perfect moment to complete your home library or find a gift for your loved ones.
